Fat Possum can seemingly do no wrong as their latest signing Hoops is yet another find covered in guitar gold. The Bloomington, Indiana four-piece create gorgeous, woozy, sun-drenched indie that effortlessly glides along in this sub two minute outing. With shades of DIIV, Real Estate and the lighter moments of label buddies Sunflower Bean, the summery, fx-heavy dream-pop world has gained another brilliant member and it's no surprise this lot have just been on the road with new indie darlings Whitney. This release comes from a forthcoming self-titled EP and wholly announces Hoops as being completely 'Cool 2'. -G.O'B
